1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ibookk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by ibookk and is available at ibookk.com.

2. Description of Service

ibookk provides cloud-based bookkeeping and financial management tools for small businesses, including invoicing, expense tracking, payroll calculations, bank statement import, and financial reporting. Features available depend on your subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use the Service to process or store fraudulent financial information
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

6. Financial Information Disclaimer

ibookk provides bookkeeping tools, not tax, legal, or financial advice. The calculations, reports, and data in the Service are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your financial records and for complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed accountant or tax professional for advice specific to your situation.

Payroll Tax Calculations: All payroll tax calculations provided by ibookk are estimates only and should not be relied upon for tax filing purposes. Federal, state, and local tax withholding amounts are approximations based on publicly available tax tables and may not reflect your specific situation. Always verify all payroll tax calculations with a qualified tax professional before filing any payroll tax forms. ibookk assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy of payroll tax calculations.

AI Transaction Categorization: ibookk uses artificial intelligence to automatically categorize bank transactions into IRS Schedule C categories. AI categorization is not guaranteed to be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-assigned categories before using them for tax filing or financial reporting. ibookk does not guarantee the accuracy of AI classifications.

Accountant Portal: If you grant a CPA or accountant access to your ibookk account through the accountant portal, you acknowledge that the accountant is an independent professional and not an agent or employee of ibookk. ibookk is not responsible for any advice, actions, or omissions of accountants who access your data through the Service. The accountant is independently responsible for verifying all financial data and calculations.

7. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all financial data and content you upload to or create in the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ibookk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days before it is permanently deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
